Why should I do a employee verification I just need someone hard working that shows up for work on time how is this going to help me? I have found a employer background check to be extremely helpful in my business. If they have some types of criminal records they can be a real problem to my business. I do not hire anyone with a DWI or DUI because if they have done it once they will do it again probably and I do not want this going on while they are on my payroll. Some people do not want to provide their social security number or date of birth to do a criminal background check.  Do I have the right to require this?  Isn’t it not possible to do this police check without this information? How could you positively identify that person without this information. If they have a problem with running these there must be a problem in their past.
